It is necessary to indicate all contact information only in the special fields of the ad: “Phone” and “Location”.
If any contacts are indicated in the title, in the ad description or in photographs/videos, such ad does not appear on okidoki.
Contacts are considered:
- phone number
- address
- link to the site
- ID in any messenger
- profiles and groups on social networks
- including contact information on objects depicted in photographs/videos (for example, phone number and link on the car)
Ads that do not comply with these rules are rejected. If this is the case, you will need to fix it in order for your ad to run again.
To re-add an ad on okidoki, edit it — remove contacts from the title or description. If contact information is included in the photo, remove or replace the photo.
Why can’t I indicate contacts?
- By providing your information publicly, the user runs the risk of receiving spam and fraudulent emails.
- Numbers in the titles and descriptions of advertisements can be collected by automatic programs to fill databases. Therefore, the phone number for okidoki can be viewed in the ad only by clicking on the “Show phone” button.
- Ads with links to other sites and instant messengers may contain phishing links to steal data.
